New release EP/Mini album

When reading the story of the Hare and the Tortoise I was always taken by the theme. Slow and steady wins the race. I'm not 100% sure this is true anymore with all the instant access we have to everything. If anything I was more taken with the fact that the hare could have a nice little sleep during the race and still come in second place! Not too shabby I'm sure you'd agree.

With the recording process we have definitely taken a 'slow and steady wins the race', pace because as we have recorded and mixed everything ourselves we had to make sure it would sound alright.... we've pretty much finished, it's been mastered and we have a fully fledged EP/mini album ready to roll.

We're provisionally scheduled to release it via label E5 again in October. I think the wait is due to getting it catalogued and up on iTunes and in the shops like Rough Trade and HMV again.

With a new release comes a new show. We're looking into doing something a bit special and preferably free entry. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Oh I better get my new guitar while I think of it!
