Big Brother / X Factor / Snow

We're so close to finishing our new EP, it's all kind of at a mixing tweaking stage and getting ready for mastering. How we're going to get the music out to everyone is in debate at the moment.

We kind of want to do something a little bit different - so one off vinyl is not on the agenda - and we've had what can only be described as "wacky" ideas which will probably not come to fruition - my favourite so far was to get on Big Brother as a house mate and wear t-shirts with different download links written on them to the individual songs from the EP. Obvious flaws with this would be:

A) would any of us be interesting enough to get on Big Brother
B) would we get voted out before we could wear all the t-shirts
C) would the fame go to Herron's head and he gets a massive crack problem


Another idea was to get on X Factor get to the final and then tell everyone to check out a link and download the entire thing. Firstly the problem here lies in the fact that Gerard is the only one out of the four of us that can actually sing - although Beano does a mean "robot" , so maybe Britain's got talent is the way forward - and also I'm sure Cowell would rain down upon us, although I'd personally love to meet him.

So as you can see we are busy, the hare-brained schemes are coming thick and fast, mainly for jovial purposes and to fill the time where we've been snow bound quite a bit... which has set the whole project behind.

The most exciting part for us is that we are now in the situation of practicing a new bunch of songs for a whole new set. We've already had people asking when the next gig is and we're close to sorting something out, either London or in the motherland of Luton. As Beano is now a Brightonian for uni we may even take the plunge down there. All this is TBC, pie in the sky, hear say (Not 'Popstars') for the moment....
